Entertainment was brilliant. Hospitality and friendliness were exceptional. Management from Norman is brilliant. Food and drinks were very good although a bit on the expensive side.

Food was excellent. The best thing was being able to catch a fish and bring it back for the kitchen to prepare however I wanted. Best by far was the Fijian curry that was done with both snapper and Spanish mackerel we caught. Also brilliant was the coral trout done in a Chinese style with sweet ginger soy sauce. All staff were really friendly and accommodating. Always smiling. Also Mariana the lady that looks after kids activities during the day is a superstar keeping kids busy. Searching for hermit crabs, reel fishing, basket weaving - kids were always entertained.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very relaxing time. The surroundings are very plush, green and tropical. The staff are friendly, in fact we had one young lad treat us like a King and Queen each night at dinner. The dinner surroundings are lovely, all outside with a sandy beach like feel. The food is top class and so, so delicious! During dinner one evening they had a cultural show which was very professionally done - loved it! We had an Ocean View Bure and we sat outside on the deck every evening and watched the sun go down - so magical. The pool is a relaxing space and you can order food and drink while you lie in the sunshine. Our room was comfortable but we didn't spend a lot of time in there as it was quite dark. It has everything you need and housekeeping are very good. The bar staff were friendly, but we had so much duty free we mainly just got an ice bucket from there each night and drank out of our Huski's that we travelled with.

The property rates itself as a 3 or 4 stars but we had a 6 star experience. The staff were fantastic - genuinely happy and wanting to make our stay enjoyable. Food was terrific and was exceptional value as were the drinks. Terrific pool which we utilised a lot. A very comfy bure which was thoroughly serviced each day. A highlight was our nightly drink on our verandah watching the sun set over the sea, before a leisurely stroll to dinner on the sand overlooking the water.

The Friendly staff, room, the gardens, the pool, the entertainment, setting, breakfast music, history, Rosie's tour desk, spar/massage, activities offered during the day. The whole package offered the opportunity to just stay in one location and yet experience Fiji culture and be well entertained.

Location, able to catch local bus to Laotoka and explore markets at our leisure. Next door was Vuda Marina which has small shop and bar/ restaurant. Bure was clean and tidy. No mosquitos. Staff were very friendly and smiling. Pool was great for kids and canal allowed for a swim even when tide was out. Resort now has added boats for trips out to nearby islands. We went to Serenity Island. Restaurant has a good mixed menu

Lovely spot looking over the bay. Well established gardens particularly shady trees. Very relaxing. Excellent pool and very friendly staff. They really made you feel special. Two nights we saw a show after our meal. The first night was a warrior dance (Tuesday) and on the Saturday night there were woman and men dancing also fire dancing. The warrior dancing was performed with hotel staff and was extra special because of that. It was on two nights we just didn’t see the Friday night one. Two days we ordered taxis from the hotel to take us to some activities. The taxi will wait on you while you are in town. A walk out onto the reef on low tide proved interesting, but requires good shoes.

The staff were always kind and friendly. The resort was about 15 minutes walk from Vuda Marina where our boat from Serenity Island dropped . We stayed in an ocean view burr with breakfast included. The burr was roomy with another adjoins closed in verandah room where you could view the ocean and lush tropical gardens and leave wet clothes and towels hanging. Considering this was a resort the food dinner was surprisingly reasonably well priced. It was also well presented well and was generally delicious. We stayed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and there was a big cultural night on the Saturday evening complete with dancers including Fire Dancers. Each night we were there they seemed to have a trio of Fijian musicians which was nice. The pool was large and surrounded by beautiful lush tropical plants. I loved the complementary foot massage / unfortunately it was only for 1 person.

Lovely ocean view bure. The mattress is comfortable but unfortunately it was 2 beds together so it is difficult to cuddle each other all night with the bump in the middle. The staff are very friendly and the musicians who played over dinner each evening were wonderful. The pool is lovely and at a perfect temperature. Unfortunately there are not many other options for dining other than the resort and no supermarkets or shops close by. There is a good choice on the menu but unfortunately over the 5 days we found most of our choices were quite bland. In saying all this, I would definitely go back and stay there as it is lovely.
